Real estate in Brandon has become extremely popular over the past few years. Brandon is located just eight miles east of Tampa, where new homes and condos mix attractively with a wide variety of historic properties. The town is ideally situated just south of the junction of Interstate 4 and Interstate 75. Driving time from downtown Tampa is approximately 15-20 minutes. MacDill Air Force Base is located in south Tampa, a 25-30 minute drive on the Crosstown Expressway. Tampa International Airport is within a 30-minute drive of Brandon. The beaches of St Petersburg and Clearwater are not far away while sporting events, featuring the Tampa Bay Lightening and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, are only a short drive away in nearby South Tampa.

Brandon real estate, which is made up of mainly new homes, range from the mid-$250,000s to well above $1,000,000. Typically for around $300,000 this will afford you a spacious four bedroom split level home on a quarter acre of land, or more, while high-end Brandon community homes often include such luxury features as custom pools, vaulted ceilings, stainless steel and granite kitchens, oversize garages, and carefully landscaped properties. Brandon real estate also includes a wide variety of townhomes and condos in the $150,000 range. Brandon homes are more affordable than other parts of Tampa such as South Tampa, which prices have increased dramatically over the past few years.
Brandon Town Center Mall or the Westfield Shopping town is quickly becoming one of the largest malls in Central Florida. It was constructed in 1995 at a cost of over $200 million. This shopping center attracts millions of shoppers and tourists every season. And is needed to cater for Brandon as it is the largest unincorporated community in Florida.
