Palma Ceia Real Estate
Palma Ceia is another neighborhood in the heart of South Tampa, located west of downtown Tampa, south of Kennedy Blvd. and north of Gandy Blvd. Palma Ceia is home to some of Tampa's most prestigious homes.
Palma Ceia exists today as one of Tampa’s most exclusive communities. The origin of the name "Palma Ceia" has been often speculated upon by many Tampa historians. Perhaps, it was originally said to be the "seat" or "base" of the Palm, or "Palma Silla" by early Spanish speaking settlers. However today Palma Ceia is home to antique, red brick roads, shaded by enormous oaks, and its intimate neighborhood character make the neighborhood of Palma Ceia a great place to call home. A wide variety of housing designs and price ranges accent one of Tampa’s most premier neighborhood locations, which has maintained consistent appeal to Tampa natives since the early 1920’s. Palma Ceia is also home to Tampa’s renowned golf course and country club.
Palma Ceia is easily accessed by I-275, I-75, and Tampa's Lee Roy Selmon Expressway and is just minutes from other area attractions too, including the Tampa Convention Center, the Florida Aquarium, and Ybor City. Prices for some Palma Ceia residences start in the low $200,000 and can increase up to over $1,000,000.
